We offer float trips here in North Carolina on the French Broad on the section of river that runs above the whitewater section. These float trips are a great option for folks with small children (minimum age of 4), or groups that aren't necessarily looking for action and adventure, and might just prefer an hour or two of floating through the beautiful and scenic mountains of Western North Carolina, enjoying each other's company and the fantastic scenery. This is a great way for parents, grandparents, kids and the occasional dog to be together out on the river.
