Answer: Rafting does carry some risks, but those risks are greatly minimized when it’s guided by experienced professionals (like ours!) and tailored to the right difficulty level.
Blue Heron Whitewater offers trips on the French Broad River, featuring Class II–IV rapids. These are ideal for beginners, families with kids (age 8+), and thrill-seekers alike.
No experience is needed. Our experienced guides provide safety briefings, all the necessary gear, and on-water support throughout the trip. You don’t need to be an athlete—just ready for some adventure!
